Most Beautiful Places To Hike In The World

If you are a nature lover, the thrill of lacing up your pair of hiking boots and heading off on an adventurous road is beyond words. The fresh air, the stillness of the landscape, and the solitude all add up to motivate the hiker to go on hiking trails worldwide.

Some of the most beautiful places around the globe can only be reached on foot. While some of these fantastic treks are multi-day journeys, others can be covered in a day by anyone in a decent physical condition.

If you are searching for some of the best places to kickstart your hiking journey, you are at the right place! This guide talks about some of the best hiking trails in the world worth paying a visit. Let's look into it.
Inca Trail, Peru
Descending from the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is one of the best experiences that you will have in your life. It is a 42 kilometer (26 miles) trek, and hiking on the Inca Trail takes up over two 13000 foot passes.

It follows the route that the ancient Incas took over more than 650 years ago, and a majority of the stonework is still in its place. While hiking, you will come across two tunnels built by the Incas, several waterfalls, and the ancient ruin of Winay Wayna.

Although this is a rugged hiking spot, people prefer covering it in 4 days during changeable weather. To be more precise, the weather here fluctuates continuously. Be prepared to face very hot days with pouring rain that occasionally becomes cold. This is a famous hiking route, and thousands of hikers embark on this journey every year.
Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Being one of the most famous sites in the entire African continent, Kilimanjaro is on top of several people's bucket lists for hiking. Over 30,000 people try this hike every year.

The view from the top of Kilimanjaro is heavenly. It has a spectacular landscape. The view of the sunrise from the top is mesmerizing. On average, the time needed to reach the top and come down will take you near 5-6 days. However, the time needed to complete the trail also depends on your acclimatization rate and fitness level.

Everest Base Camp, Nepal
The beauty of this hike is beyond words. This 65 kilometers, one-way trail ascends on a mountain ridge and then drops into a river. Then, it again climbs onto the next mountain ridge.

Usually, it will take an average of 12-14 days to complete the hike. The air here is relatively thin, and thus you can hike only to a height of 5500 meters. On that note, most of the walking is done in the 3500-4500 meter range.

However, you must keep in mind that you will not get to see the peak of Mount Everest right from the base camp unless the skies are clear. However, you will notice it from distinct points while crossing the trail. People prefer embarking on this journey when the temperature is moderate, usually between March to May and September to December.

Along your way, you will come across several highlights, including the Everest View Hotel (the highest hotel on the globe), Namche Bazaar, and the Tengboche Monastery. Finding accommodation on the trail is quite easy. Also, the path is quite straightforward, and thus you will be able to find your way on your own.

Final Word
We hope that the list as mentioned above will help you prepare for your next adventurous trip. However, make sure to gather all the necessary information about the trail before you embark on your journey.
