How To Make The Perfect Pancakes

Who wouldn't love to eat fluffy and delicious pancakes that melt as soon as you place them in your mouth? It's no surprise to say that for most people, each weekend starts and ends with pancakes. 

You might often feel preparing pancakes at your home is a daunting task. It's super-easy and requires a few basic ingredients. Do you've any ideas about cooking pancakes? Whether you're a cooking expert or beginner, we'll make you go through a few simple steps. 

So, today we've come up with a delicious pancake recipe that tastes as if you are eating at a bakery. Now, you don't need to go to nearby shops to buy pancakes. All you need to do is follow the below-given steps to enjoy mouth-watering pancakes in your home. 
Preparing For spongy pancakes 
Everyone has a basic question- how to make pancakes so fluffy? The simple answer is it all depends on the batter. If you prepare the thick batter, the pancakes won't cook well inside. On the contrary, if you prepare a runny batter, instead of fluffy, the pancakes will spread out, and all you get is a flat pancake. So, make sure you don't prepare either thick or runny batter.

Precautions while cooking pancakes
Make sure you prepare batter well, or else the entire dish turns unpalatable. Don't heat the pancakes on a high flame. Heating them under a low flame ensures equal cooking and enhances the flavor. It's better if you choose a non-stick pan for a smooth preparation process. Even if you decide to cook on a generic pan, apply butter so that the batter doesn't stick. Take a spatula(high-quality plastic one) to flip the pancake so that you'll find no holes, cracklins, or uneven surfaces. 
Required ingredients
All-purpose plain flour- two cups or 10 oz 
Crushed sugar- one-fourth cup or 2 oz
A large-sized egg
Baking powder- four teaspoons
Baking soda- one-fourth teaspoon
Vanilla extract- two teaspoons
Salt (as required/one-half teaspoon)
Milk- 440 ml or around one ¾ cups 
Butter- one-fourth cup

How to prepare fluffy pancakes 
Now, it's time to prepare mouth-watering pancakes using the above-mentioned simple ingredients. Initially, take the all-purpose flour, sugar (you can even replace sugar with a sweetener like honey or jaggery), baking soda, baking powder, and salt into a bowl and mix them. Mix well with a spoon or mixer. Next, add milk, melted and cooled butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Now, whisk the mixture and make a smooth batter. This is the crucial step in preparing pancakes.

As discussed earlier, if you fail to prepare the excellent batter, you end up with flat or uncooked pancakes. So, make sure you constantly whisk until you find no lumps in the mixture(It's okay if you find a few bumps). If the batter is too thick, pour milk until it becomes consistent. Stir it and keep it aside for a few minutes. Next, take a pan and heat it under low flame. Grease the entire pan with butter. 

Now, pour the batter into one-fourth cup and spread it across the pan. Make sure you distribute it in a circle shape, either using a cup or spoon. Flip the batter to the other side once you notice one side of the battery is thoroughly cooked(usually, it turns brownish or golden in color if it's cooked well). Repeat the same and prepare all the pancakes. Once you finish preparing pancakes, serve natural sweeteners honey, yogurt, ice cream, maple syrup, or fruits. No matter whatever you mix with, it would give the ultimate savory.
